I Obtained the Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 1999 in the field of Textile and Clothing Engineering. Later, in 2009, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Manufacturing Systems Engineering at the University of Moratuwa, Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. I joined the Department of Textile and Apparel Technology of the Open University in January 2000 as a Temporary Demonstrator. Later in August 2001 I joined the department as an Engineering Teaching Assistant. Later I was promoted to the post of Lecturer in the Department of Textile and Apparel Technology in April 2005.
