Method: Face to face lectures with a practical focus on how to teach literature
Areas covered: G.C.E. O/L Literature: poetry/ short stories/ drama/ novels Instructional strategies for literature and methods of evaluation
Faculty:Highly experienced and qualified lecturer with a PhD in literature teaching and an award-winning novelist involved in G.C.E. (O/L) syllabus design. Both have wide experience in teaching literature
Evaluation: Practical micro-teaching based on course content
Certificate: Those who successfully complete the course and evaluation will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by the PGIE
Duration: 20 hours (10 x 2 hr sessions)
The course will be conducted on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The course will be completed in late-March.
