The one year Diploma in Tourism Operations Programme has been designed to introduce the multi disciplinary nature of the tourism industry and the links it has with the various sub sectors. The components of the industry are discussed during the first semester using 4 core courses which is compulsory to all students. Thereafter the students have the option of selecting their special stream either in Hotel Operations or Travel Operations during the second semester and covering 4 courses. A practical component is also included and altogether the programme is worth 30 credits.
The Diploma will benefit the school leavers, employment seekers and those already employed in the Tourism, Travel and Hotel Industry.
